Pumpkin Spice Glazed Pecans

Pumpkin Spice Glazed Pecans

At the start of fall each year, I always love to have a pumpkin spiced food item! I thought that the traditional pumpkin spice flavor would translate well onto pecans, my favorite nut! If you are looking to start your fall in the best way possible, make these spiced pecans!

Ingredients

2 cups pecans

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 Tbsp maple syrup

4 tsp water

3/4 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp ground cloves

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

1/2 tsp salt

Directions

In a bowl, whisk together the sugar, syrup, water, spices, and salt. Stir in the pecans.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour pecan mixture onto the tray, scraping the residual glaze on top of the nuts. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

Let the nuts fully cool to allow the sugar to harden.

Enjoy!
